Bus Tours

We welcome bus tours to Flat Pennies Ice Cream. Call ahead to let us know when you are coming and everyone on the bus will receive a free self-guided caboose tour. We have plenty of outdoor seating as well as room inside the store. Artwork, nostalgic candy and gifts are available. Bus drivers will be directed where to park nearby. Bus driver and tour guide will receive a free ice cream treat of their choice. Please join us in this unique experience along the Great River Road.

Party Packages:

Birthday, anniversary, family reunions or any special occasion you want to be memorable. Flat Pennies Ice Cream specializes in ice cream but like our slogan says, we offer more than just cool ice cream. We also serve jumbo hot dogs, WI bratwurst in four delicious flavors and homemade shredded beef sandwiches, chips and a variety of beverages. All food is priced separate.

Make a choice, party in the caboose or party in the backyard, either is fun, both come with the option of games Penny appearance, and a PA system for a small fee.

Caboose

How unique would it be to have a birthday party in a Soo Line caboose? Pretty cool most would think! This can be done, simply let us know how many beef sandwiches, hot dogs, brats, chips and beverages and you’ll know the total price long before the party date. We encourage you to allow your guests to be on their own for ice cream so they can pick their favorite treat. You can eat right inside of the caboose and take in the self-guided tour while you’re enjoying the party. The caboose rental fee is only $20 for three-hours of use.

Backyard Events

If you’re having a large ceremony or other get-together consider Flat Pennies Ice Cream. The backyard can be rented out for $20 fee. This package offers plenty of picnic table seating and an outdoor concession stand where food and beverages will be served by one of Flat Pennies finest crew members. Simply let us know how many beef sandwiches, hot dogs, brats, chips and beverages and you’ll know the total price long before the party date. We encourage you to allow your guests to be on their own for ice cream so they can pick their favorite treat. If necessary, we also have a PA system available. The PA system is accompanied by a podium, microphone and two speakers that can be heard anywhere in the backyard. This is a perfect set up for an award ceremony, recognition program or announcements of any sort. There is an additional $10 fee for the PA system.

Party options:

Games

We can set up a variety of games for your special get-together such as: bean-bag toss, golf toss, basketball hoop, tug-o-war, limbo and if you bring your own piñata, we’ll hang it. All games come as a package for an additional $10. These games can be set up as a race course which has proven to be a lot of fun. Group participants will receive a hand stamp for exclusive use during any party.

Penny the Flat Pennies Ice Cream mascot

Our mascot, Penny can join in the fun with your group. A :30 minute appearance is only $10. This is a great addition for your party!

PA system
